High Court's bench in Birgunj starts business
Birgunj, 21 Sept:
A temporary bench of the Janakpur High Court of Province no 2 has started its business from Birgunj today.
The High Court bench established under Nepal Government decision taken on September 14 will operate within a jurisdiction spanning Bara, Parsa and Rautahat's service seekers.
The temporary bench was established in Birgunj with an aim of providing services at the people's doorstep, Bench's Head Justice, Udaya Prakash Chapagain, told the National News Agency (RSS).
The bench designated with an official capacity to accommodate 15 justices as part of the government's decision has started business with seven justices.
The bench has opened an office at Birgunj Sugar Factory's administrative building as it does not have its own office.
